At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

all too soon, 2 weeks have passed & i miss anaesthesia already.. maybe not as bad as emed(with withdrawal symptoms & all) but i still found it to be quite a nice speciality to go into, esp. for girls....the lifestyle seems quite gd with no long ward rounds except for pain rounds, no clinics(unless u are an MO or reg) and u get to sit in an aircon place the whole day....haha...perhaps one reason why I enjoyed my time in sgh was the working environment & the anaesthetists i met who always seemed happy & ever so willing to teach & impart skills to med students even though our failed intubations, plugs and wrong bag & mask skills probably gave them much more work to do... maybe i'll consider doing anaesthesia as one of my MO postings next time, but that's a long way more....hahahere's some random photos from the past few days...
Michelle ventilating a baby....prob one of the very very rare times u will see her with a baby...haha
a pic to show how small the paediatric oral airway can be...(my pen was used as a reference & for comparison)
totally random photo of mich's socks, OT shoes & shoe covers....(i was bored during ICU tutorial when i took this)
practicing how to do a CSE with a Touhy needleAnyway, I'm on to opthalmo next @ nuh...Bleagh...

Here's my newest niece Natasha!! She was born on the 18th of August 2008 @ 5.30pm, at east shore...

The first thing everyone noticed when they saw her was her full head of jet black hair! plus she has lungs that would rival my auntie's! hahahaha....

And the medical student in me noted her length(51cm) and OFC(33cm) =)
Congrats Lee Lyn & Andrew on your wonderful bundle of joy!!
