At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

it's been nearly a week since i passed my med stuff to my councillee and a long time since i last updated my blog......finally my mum is happier that the storeroom is freed of 2 large, heavy boxes and a bag filled with bones....all the notes, books and the real skeleton are gone....actually i'm more sad abt the skeleton =)) so here's a pic of the skull i took before i gave it away:
it's from a female probably dating back to the 1960s (according to my seniors)met my med seniors again yesterday at nydc.....so glad they all managed to turn up cause i was the one who arranged the dinner...hahah....and i managed to introduce my councillee to them....a few months down from our last meeting, some things still havent changed, like jason scaring us all into studying hard & shiming being his crappy, lame self.....my week in passing:mon-wed: had sch n (boring) frs save for our nice TA and the antics of natascha.....thurs: finished sch early for once & went shopping! woohoo! indulged in some retail therapy by buying a nice pair of white berms & an esprit shirt that was on sale....later that evening i met up with joey n shiying at popeye's as a farewell to joey....fri: met seniors at nydc for dinnergoodbye joey & i'll miss you! see u in dec!

it's finally the weekend.....just survived my first wk of m2 with its associated bores n pains....an entire week of cofm lects with more to come =(....to only gd thing is patho lab is quite short now as we have so little slides to view....but i cant distinguish a normal tissue from one that is diseased....frs was a waste of time, so was the dean's talk where they didnt even mark attendance & i waited 5 hours for it......the photocopying auntie was nice to me when i paid her(my 1st job as treasurer)......isn't life strange? some things change, some remain the same; allegiences change and along with it comes a certain kind of regret, pain & memories that will last for a length of time, be it gd or bad.....perhaps it's for the best to find somewhere else where you can truly be yourself and not have to try too hard.....i hope i made sense.... =)

the title of my post says it all......ARGH........ sch has reopened....my wonderful 3 months break has just disappeared just like that! i'm still trying hard to figure out where all 90+ days of holiday went....anyway, sch today was kind of surreal...new lt(28) and a much colder n bigger one....koh dr wasnt making any sense as usual, and patho sounds just like histo....urgh....looking at slides, esp diseased slides is not my cup of tea....plus a frame shift has occurred for my patho lab seating arrangement, which means now i'm away from the rest of my anat grp.....not a very nice start to school =(.....and the worst part is the timetable....looking at the time u end everyday is very depressing....here's what a typical day is like...i start at 8.30am & end at 4pm with only a 1 hr lunch break in between....no more gg out for anat grp lunches...=( how free m1 was.......

Happy national day to everyone & Happy 41st birthday to Singapore!! much as i am a little bit embarrased to admit it, national day always reaffirms the hidden pride u feel as a singaporean....singing all the community songs that we learnt like "We are singapore", "Count on me Singapore" and "Stand up for Singapore" just makes u feel truly singaporean at heart....after all, today is the only day where you can sing all these songs and not get stared at on the streets....haha.... but my all-time favourite song would be "Home" composed by dick lee.... and i kind of think this yr's song is quite nice...it has a nice melody but i bet no one knows who the singer is....haha...some homegrown talent named kaira gong......
oh yes! and the fireworks are nice! (i realised i have used the word "nice" too many times)...i can see them from my house when the parade is @ the national stadium, so i'm quite sad that the stadium is being torn down...lots of memories there....like the malaysia cup days where my family would go n watch football, ndp in p5( i havent gotten tickets so far despite my countless bids online =( ), A div football finals(where vj won!), etc.....
anyway, went to watch the fireworks festival yesterday...stood @ the esplanade admist throngs of people for abt a 15min display with accompanying music....was fun but my sis says that this is nothing compared to the fireworks festival in scotland where its a 45min display....

anyway, my thought arent flowing now because i'm very distracted by the horrible singing of the idols(like joakim) and the undecipherable incantations of jacinta......
my home, where ever i may be.....
i believe, you'll will always be a part of me....

What is a friend? How many actually find true friends? All too often we end up exhausted and used when your own definition of a friend is thrown out by others.....
