At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

paeds portfolio is over! yes! the bane of my paeds posting(so far) is over... haha..anyway, since i have received feedback from a certain cg mate that my blog is boring, i shall attempt to add more pictures to my posts to perhaps make it more interesting....
went to this nice restaurant called the Wine Company along evans road (near botanical gardens) on sunday for dinner..its really quite a quaint place with both indoor and alfresco dining in a nice courtyard at the back surrounded by plants and water features...but the best draw was the food and pricing(prices on the menu are nett)...everything from the starters to the mains and desserts were all reasonably priced and they were really quite tasty and value for money.
Salads & soups(clockwise): Victor salad ($10), seafood bisque($8), Caesar's salad ($10), cream of mushroom($8)
Starter & Mains(clockwise): Salmon with cuscous($16), aglio olio(plain $6, with prawns$12), oysters with goat cheese on toast($12), Lamb stew(cant remember the exact price, but should be btw $16-18)

Desserts: Bread pudding ($6)-this was actually very nice and different from your normal bread pudding, chocolate molten lava cake ($10)
on the whole i would really recommend this place cos its tucked away in a relatively quiet area with nice ambience and gd food at reasonable prices. Already recommended mich to try this place, so u may see a review of this on her blog soon!

We don't appreciate things that we have in front of us until they are gone.
How true.
Contrast KK, full of patients in at least 5 wards, with Nuh, with barely enough patients to go around. Not to mention everyone trying to find EIGHT case writeups for the portfolio review which i bet is an evil ploy by the paeds dept to make us suffer miserably. Gone are the days where u can pick any child to do a DA on, randomly select any patient which will turn out to have a gd history and cheap lunches in the comfortable staff lounge. Not to mention the efficient shuttle bus service at KK.
The whining shall stop here.
Will blog more often when the madness of portfolio reviews end.
In the meantime, enjoy photos of us on the AGVs. haha.
