argh......yest angie just reminded me of something that i apparently had very successfully blocked out from my memory for the past month.......BIOCHEM HMWK!!!! this is of course not compulsory(i think) because they said that they will go thru it in tutorial n as everyone knows, biochem tutorials are...............let's just say that u are better off doing something else..... haha...so i have decided that i shall not touch my tutorial at all.....esp. since all the questions are essay questions.......want to enjoy my hols...prob one of the last few for the rest of my life......how sad is that???
i miss the yayas n the times we spent in VJ.......yun....u are so far away....halfway across the world.....haha...we miss ya!!
on a lighter note, happy new yr's eve everyone!! 1 day left in 2005.....

i officially smell of smoke now after the bbq.......haha....it was fun though....thanks to angie for letting us use her small corridor...haha...i think we blackened HDB's freshly painted walls.....lot's of food.....satay was nice....but too much bbq food is bad right?? all the 7,8-diol-9,10-epoxide in the smoke and burnt food.....haha.....see...i put my biochem to good use....although i dislike it.....sigh....can't believe uni is starting soon......argh.......head n neck....NOOOOOOO.............i wanna go back to studying only the upper limb!!! don't know if i'll have to time to post anything once term starts.....maybe not as frequent as now...... *bleah*last 2 days of 2005.......

today was an eventful day.....met my mg friends for lunch.....then we went to play at the arcade in marina square! haha....super hilarious.....had such a fun time playing
bishi bashi(or whatever it is called), driving a simulated subaru WRX (i have to mention this, mich) and shooting mutants......michelle was perspiring after that....hahaha......although i must give her credit for her hand-eye coordination in bishi bashi.....she's good at it man.....i've never seen anyone build burgers that fast.....hehe....
later in the evening went shopping....bought lots of t-shirts....all the post-christmas sales....think i spent a lot of money today.....must stop spending for a while....haha..........food in spore is no longer cheap.....
looking forward to 03S15's BBQ at angie's house tmr!!!!

phnom penh is like spore in the 60s n 70s.....(i wouldn't know anything abt that, but that's what my aunt says) road side stalls everywhere selling everything u can imagine....esp french loaves....these look real good...tried one...it's crispy on the outside n very soft on the inside....yum yum....
went to one of the many markets in the city (4 to be exact) called the central market....saw one of the "local delicacies"....haha...wanna hazard a guess?? it was fried insects.....spiders, huge cockroaches, beetles, silk worms.....*gross*.....took a photo of it... (see above)
anyway, i also bought a franck muller watch for just US$13 at that market...haha....looks so real....things there are relatively cheap...esp. at the Russian market.....it's like our tiong bahru market but so much better...all the REAL branded stuff rejects from the factories there selling at low prices...but u really must be able to tolerate the heat and all the jostling inside with the crowd....
other than shopping.....i went for a facial....haha....like no diff....my face still had some pimples after that...hehe....anyway, I REALLY WANT TO GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!!

still feeling holiday sick.....miss cambodia....and siem reap.......scenery there is beautiful......angkor wat is magnificent.....climbed angkor wat....now that was really scary.....steps were so narrow and some were crumbling with age and the slope was angled at 75 degrees!! practically climbed on all fours and didn't dare to look down...*shudder*.....our guide however, reached the top in a flash and he was grinning away as he watched us climb...hehe...the locals are so used to climbing it that they move with such sure-footedness.....what's worse was the descent.....thank goodness there was a railing on one side to hold on to(small and flimsy, but a railing nonetheless)....took one step at a time....was really so scared i didn't want to go down....but i did n survived to tell the tale...haha...took lots of pics........but i really need to get a new camera.....my camera's resolution is quite bad.....haha....*hint hint* to anyone who's reading.....wanna go back there again....didn't have enough time to see everything...almost 100 over temples there, plus the mountains n waterfalls n the floating village...can't wait for the next hols!!

finally decided to start a blog....don't know how long this will last, but will try my best to post stuff on it....anyway, here's wishing everyone a very happy new yr that is less than 4 days away....can't believe one yr has gone by in a flash.....it almost seems like i just finished my A's yesterday....time really changes things.....friends change--some grow apart, some grow closer....funny what a new environment does to people.....oh well...looking forward to the new yr....2006 is going to be a better yr..... =)
