today was such a hilarious day....haven't laughed so hard while walking in the pouring rain for a long, long time....thanks mich for making the heavens open just as we stepped out....now, wasn't i smart to say that 2 of us couldn't fit into 1 umbrella??

went to VJ today with angie to collect this cute little bear that they were selling a few wks ago...it's wearing the vj PE T-shirt.....i personally think it would look better in the uniform...haha.. it's going to sit on my already crowded table until i find a suitable place to put it....
VJ has really changed a lot.....there are 2 treehouses erected on the side of the field with rickety-looking bridges joining them, a new students' lounge called Igloo (because it's a place to chill out) and the GO has had a revamp with a nice red couch sitting inside the office....went to see Igloo and it really is a very very cool place to hang out after sch...after all, in which JC can you find a students' lounge with a pool table, dart board, PS2, soccer table, a VCD/DVD player and all the expensive magazines hanging on the wall??? wish i was still studying there.....how lucky the victorians are these days!

oh yes...and i shall blog abt how michelle thinks the show "da chang jin"'s name came abt....according to her, 'da' is because the show has so many episodes on DVD, so the box is big....'chang' is because the show has many episodes, so very long....as for 'jin' she has no idea what it means...hahaha....mich is simply hilarious....her chinese is worse than i thought!! hahah!!

had a somewhat adrenaline-infused drive today....was on the way back from sending my sis to work when it started to rain torrentially, reducing my road visibility to about 5 feet....even the windscreen wiper at its maximum speed did little to help...i had to go really slow on the expressway and i couldn't see the lane markings at all...what's worse was that i had to filter to the extreme left lane from the right lane to exit the expressway in the midst of heavy traffic....thankfully i emerged safe and sound...haha...

saw this taiwanese variety show on tv just now where they had simon of ex boy band Blue as a guest on their show...the show hosts had extremely bad command of the english language, bad to the extent it became hilarious... here's an eg of what they said:
female host:"simon, you have a camera face" (i think she meant photogenic face)
male host: " you a handsome boy"

hahahaha....when i heard what they said i just couldn't stop laughing!!

so much for my otherwise uneventful day....

all too often one gets caught up in life, be it studies or family, and you sometimes just unknowingly edge God a little further out of your life....wrong thing to do, but sometimes the whirlwind of activity in life makes it all too easy....
someone mentioned this verse on sat and i realised that it's time once again to place God first in everything--Seek Him first and He will add all other things to you...no use striving or spending all your energy and time to do well but forgetting your walk with God...i know He will take care of my business when i take care of His business....

What a faithful and gracious heavenly Father have i!!

slacking again today....we were supposed to study in the library but ended up going to holland v instead for lunch!! haha....but not before we (mich and i, or rather i was coerced into doing it =) decided to play a prank on audrey....haha...really hilarious...i pretended to be charanjit kaur and i called audrey to tell her to meet me in the anat museum as she didn't do well for her anat spots....poor audrey fell for it and was in tears when me and mich rushed back to see her reaction....felt so bad when i saw her crying, but thankfully fish told audrey that it was prank almost immediately after the call.....haha....once audrey got herself together again, she started whacking mich with her squash rackets!! haha...extremely funny and mich was laughing NON-STOP for at least 5 mins...haha....i think she trained her abs well today with all that laughing....
note to aud: really sorry that we made u upset!!!

then later in the afternoon i went to parkway to order my dad's birthday cake as well as spend the $90 Topshop voucher that my sis gave me as my belated birthday present last yr which was going to expire in 3 days time....wanted to buy a pair of jeans but this time round the cuts were not very nice so i ended up buying a pair of black pants, a t-shirt and a spag top for my sis.....decided to be nice and buy her something using her money!! haha....

finally i can sleep in tmr......

Went out with fish and mich today to watch "Walk the Line" at PS....at first it was quite interesting but then after a while i was desperately waiting for the show to end as it got quite boring and draggy.....so much for joaquim phoenix and his cleft lip (as pointed out by prof voon), although i think resse witherspoon sang much better than the real June Carter...haha....enjoyed her better in Legally Blonde....and during the whole movie, michelle got so fidgety cause she was cold and bored...haha....never seen her almost squatting on the chair before!!
Then after an ardous 2hrs 10mins(it felt much longer than that), the show finally ended and we then went to subway for lunch....it's really worth it to eat at subway now that they have the offer...haha...so mich and i ended up eating subway for both lunch and dinner!! haha...and we'll prob eat subway again tmr...hahaha..... i think i won't eat subway for a long, long time after this.......
oh yes! the 3 of us decided to cut our hair so went to far east to a salon mich recommended and i must say poor fish was the 'guinea pig'.....the shop assistants were so slow and had bad work attitude that michelle n i decided to cut our hair at another shop, leaving poor fishy stuck in the salon with metal foil on her hair....hehe....(sorry fish for abandoning you!!) i must say i'm quite happy with my haircut as i have come to realise that my hair is:
1. very thick
2. very black
3. very curly
---the perfect ingredients for unkempt hair!! no matter how i cut it, it always seems to stick out in every direction possible...argh....oh well, hopefully this hair cut will be better.....

just found out from fish that dinesh kumar said that our yr didn't do well for spots...average mark was abt 60%....it's kind of obvious knowing we had such a hard paper....who in the world cares abt the salphingopharyngeus muscle or whatever u call it......didn't know such a muscle existed until mich told me abt it....haha....

so not looking forward to the pros.....

finally CAs are over!! woo hoo!!! let me indulge in euphoria and relief for a mere second before i crash back to reality and realise that my first pros are in 3 weeks time.......

Reasons why CAs were upsetting:
1. Physio was HARD....at first i was confident of my answers, then came peter hwang with the correct answers and i realised that i had most of it wrong!!!! ARGH!!! do profs give physio tuition??? haha
2. Anat Spots was HARD n Tricky.....so much for prof raj telling us that we have more than enough time and not to panic....lingual nerve and its EFFERENT fibres??? that is just mean.....hands up the people who wrote ant 2/3 of the tongue (nyself included).....
3.Biochem was the same as always.......

Pros had better be easier.....
