At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

was halfway through another horrible case write up process when fish's email brought a smile to my face...here's what she sent:
Diet Questions Answered
Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this
true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... don't
waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up
your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can
extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live
longer? Take a nap
Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay
and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more
than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system.
Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass
(green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your
recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine,
that means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even
more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain.
Bottoms up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to
one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular
exercise program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No
Pain...Good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!!.... Foods are fried these days in
vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting
more vegetables be bad for you?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the
middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger. You
should only be doing sit-ups if you want a bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the
best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me. ( i thought of u, fish when i read this =))
Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!
hahahaha...simply hilarious!

i'm back! havent posted anything for a really long time because i was away in sydney for the Hillsong Conference 07! Had a great time there learning from all the speakers which were gd as well as being inspired by the songwriting workshops, esp. the Chris Tomlin one....the praise & worship at the rallies was awesome...really impressed by the drummers(their hands were moving so fast everything became a blur) & the guitarists...anyway, besides the conference, i also managed to see the blue mountains & the 3 sisters....photos will be up later cos my camera is still with my sis in aus....and a sidenote to those who shared the camera for my present, THANK YOU!! the camera was very gd, much better than my previous one... =)oh yes, & i really want to thank God for his blessings as we had very nice, sunny weather all the 8 days we were there & it didnt rain at all until the afternoon we were leaving....managed to get nice photos of the blue mountains because of that =)anyway, touching down in sg brought me back to reality.....reality of sch & the many many patho lects, med readings, clerking, case write-ups that have been piling up while i was away...not forgetting the report i have to submit abt the conference & the fact that i'm still super tired from travelling & super sian abt coming back home after a nice, relaxing break.....I need ur help God to get me through this few wks!!
