At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

just realised this is my 200th post!
Anyway, i was at a kelong in the middle of the sibu sea in m'sia over the weekend...what an interesting experience it was for me, cos personally i'm not a big fan of being out at sea with the fear of the unknown lurking in those deep waters...i took a while for me to get used to standing near the edge of the kelong as there are no railings to prevent u from falling straight into the murky depths and the nearest island is abt 10-15 mins' boat ride away...
Fears aside, it was a fun and relaxing time with days spent languishing on the kelong fishing, singing, playing taboo & hitNmiss or playing beach volleyball on sibu island; while nights were spent trying to fish for sotong(which sadly turned out to be a futile attempt although other pple seemed to be catching 4 in 15 mins =S), playing games and just bonding with good friends in general...
I learnt how to fish with a fishing rod, how to hook sotong bait so that it isnt stolen by fish so easily, how sotong are attracted to fake prawns as bait, how to bathe with a pail of rain water and pee into a hole that opens into the sea, how somehow the big fishes seem to congregate under the toilet area (EWW) and how it is possible to feed greedy little fishes everything & anything under the sun...
I'm so glad it was one of those holidays where i could really enjoy myself without having to think of schoolwork or studying, and where i could happily watch the beautiful sunset/sunrise and think to myself: 'You are truly Amazing, God'

the 25-30 min boat ride frm msia peninsular to the kelongKelong in the middle of the sibu sea (sibu island in the background)
