At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

back from camp! it's been a wonderful 3 days in malacca for camp, a time of just waiting upon God and praying out His plan for our lives...after all, He is our Daddy God & He will always give us His best... Really enjoyed myself even though it rained continuously during the time we were there, with only at most a 1 hour respite....our camp was held at El Sanctuary in malacca, this nice kumpung-style retreat on a hill run by a christian family...it was really quite fun & the ammenities(own bath/toilet with hot H2O, queen-sized beds, fans) were very gd even though it was only a wooden hut on stilts..
some photos of the place...looks quite nice right?

clockwise fr top: all together now, shimei-me-jun, san looking like a deer in the headlights, me-mei
(more photos later)anyway, each hut can accomodate 6 pple & i stayed with aunty karen, ah-san, ah-jun, shi mei & min...ah-san was super funny...if i had a nickel for every time she made me laugh/did something funny, i would be rich by now...haha..there was this one incidence where she was sitting quietly on the bed talking to me when suddenly she started waving her hands madly in the air! hahaha...it turned out she was trying to shoo this mosquito away from her! i nearly keeled over laughing.......sessions were very gd and the games were quite fun this yr...kudos to the youth comm for their hard work in planning all this....=)since it was raining heavily the entire time we were there (and as u probably know by now malaysia is flooded), we had our games out in the open where we got soaking wet & i nearly stepped on a toad out in the field...it was also quite sad that we didnt manage to go on the night trail in the jungle which the family organised for us & involved us crossing a (small) river on a rope bridge(no, not the kind with 2 ropes & a plank in the middle but the kind with ONLY 2 ropes, one of top of the other) cause of the heavy rain which caused the river to swell & its currents were too strong & dangerous for us to cross on a rope bridge...in a way we were quite blessed to have stayed on a hill as there was no flooding & as we soon found out on the way back to s'pore, how devastating the rain was.....malacca town was flooded and on the north-south highway, for the first time in my life i saw one side of the highway submerged in muddy water & traffic had to be diverted to the opp side of the expressway....plus the plantations along the highway were flooded & most were almost submerged...oh yes, there was even a cow running along the highway!! haha...it must have escaped from the flooded plantations & it was so funny seeing the officials trying to catch it....haha...to sum it up, it was a very memorable & enjoyable trip that involved some retail therapy on the last day in malacca town where i bought 4 shirts, ate ice cream twice(all thanks to val), saw Prof Benny Tan shopping(ARGH!) all in a mere 2 hours....Daddy GodHonour & majesty,Glory & powerBe to Almighty God,Be to my FatherDaddy God, it's wonderful to be with youDaddy God, so good to be your child,Daddy God, it's wonderful to be with youAnd I live to worship you with all my life
