At The Cross
Oh Lord You've searched me
You know my way
Even when I fail You
I know You love me
Your holy presence
Surrounding me
In every season
I know You love me
I know You love me
At the cross I bow my knee
Where Your blood was shed for me
There's no greater love than this
You have overcome the grave
Your glory fills the highest place
What can separate me now
You go before me
You shield my way
Your hand upholds me
I know You love me
And when the earth fades
Falls from my eyes
And You stand before me
I know You love me
I know You love me
You tore the veil, You made a way
When You said that it is done

how strange time is. it crawls when you are desperate for a boring biochem lecture to end, yet flies when you are enjoying yourself...I'm currently in a state of disbelief that one month of holidays has ended so abruptly..it has been said that time passes all too quickly when you are having fun. how true.
I've experienced it myself all too many times, perhaps more so for this holiday. After all, i managed to take a break, go on a 5 day holiday (my first in many years) and catch up on novels that have been sitting on my already burgeoning bookshelf since the last MPH warehouse sale. Yet i feel that i still have so many things left undone, things that time did not permit this holiday.
Don't get me wrong, i am very thankful for this wonderful, much-needed break but i just wish that there were more hours in a day, more days in a holiday season.
wishful thinking on my part? Maybe.
